Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 25 August 2026

Storebook wants the customer portal to be usable by as many people as possible — including with a screen reader, keyboard navigation or magnification. This statement describes where we stand, what we know does not work well enough, and how to get in touch with us.

What we aim for

We are working towards WCAG 2.2 level AA as the benchmark for the portal.

In practice, this means, among other things, that functionality must be operable using the keyboard alone, that focus must be visible, that information must not be conveyed by colour alone, and that users who have enabled reduced motion in their operating system are not shown animations.

Status

The portal has not yet undergone a structured, external WCAG 2.2 AA audit. We can therefore not declare full conformance.

Accessibility is a standing requirement in our design system: shared components have visible keyboard focus, respect reduced motion, mark the active menu item for screen readers, and do not convey status by colour alone.

A formal internal review has also not been carried out. The goal remains conformance with WCAG 2.2 level AA.

Known limitations

Secondary text in the portal has a contrast ratio of approximately 3.6:1 against the background. This meets the requirement for large text and graphical elements, but not the 4.5:1 requirement for regular body text. Note that this does not apply to the legal pages, where body text has full contrast.

A small number of older screens have not been reviewed for correct heading hierarchy.

No further specific limitations are currently on record. If you report an issue to philip@storebook.dk, we will publish it here once confirmed.

Legal basis

The customer portal is a business application made available to business customers under an agreement. It is not a public authority's website and is therefore not covered by webtilgængelighedsloven (the Danish Act on Web Accessibility), which applies to public sector bodies.

The portal is an invitation-based business tool, not a consumer-facing service. We therefore do not proceed on the basis that tilgængelighedsloven (the Danish Act implementing the European Accessibility Act) applies — but this has not been settled as a final legal assessment.

Regardless of this legal scoping, we regard accessibility as a quality requirement, not a formality.

Feedback and contact

If you experience an accessibility problem, or need content in another format, we would welcome hearing from you at philip@storebook.dk.

Please describe which page is affected and which assistive technology or browser you are using. We confirm receipt within five business days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact us at philip@storebook.dk, after which the matter will be handled at management level.
